Support Centre

Welcome to the Pacific Database Support Centre. This page is a portal to a wealth of information about Microsoft Access. Here you will find code samples, functions, white papers, useful links & other information to help you design and support applications developed in Microsoft Access & SQL Server.

We are redeveloping our website & we ask that you bear with us during the transition period. Most of the content that was available on our old website has not yet been ported over. We are in the process of doing that & we apologise for the disruption & any inconvenience this may cause.

Code & Utility Library

Visit our Code & Utility Library containing thousands of free code segments you can use in your applications.
Here you can also find many pre-built utilities that can be easily imported to your application to provide advanced functionality without having to design and build them yourself.

Information

Our Information Library contains a vast amount of useful information about Microsoft Access, SQL Server & other related topics.
The library also contains many white papers on topics ranging from Access, SQL Server & other products, to data modelling, object modelling, ICT ethics, and so on.
If you need a white paper written on a topic that isn't listed here, please let us know & we may be able to write one for you.

Link Centre

Visit the Link Library to find links to many useful Access, SQL Server & SharePoint websites.
Many of the links are to websites run by Microsoft team members or Microsoft MVPs.

Where to get help with Access

Microsoft has replaced the highly popular NNTP newsgroups with the new HTTP fora (websites). There are now two fora; one for general user-level help, called Answers; & one for developers, on the MSDN site.

Answers is for user-level help

MSDN is for developers

The Microsoft Access Team Blog

Then there's the highly popular UtterAccess site. It's a non-Microsoft site, but it's highly recommended.

Lastly, there are a number of websites run by Microsoft Access MVPs. These are highly knowledgeable professionals who freely share their knowledge & expertise. See our Link Centre for more information.
